Collar offers guaranteed performance with the 3M™ qualitative fit test apparatus FT-10 and FT-30 to provide a secure hood environment. It finds wide range of application in automotive, construction, manufacturing, metal production, fabrication, military maintenance, mining, oil, gas, pharmaceutical, transportation, food and beverage manufacturing.

- The FT-15 3M™ Respirator Fit Test Collar is part of the FT-10 and FT-30 Qualitative Fit Test Apparatus from 3M™
- Utilized during a fit test to check the seal and protection offered by any dust mask or respirator
- The FT 15 collar is used as part of a respirator fit test, for aiding the exposure of the gaseous test solutions (FT-12, FT-32) to the subject
- Should they be able to detect these aromas during the fit test then the seal of the mask is imperfect and an alternative mask should be used
- A fit test is required to meet OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines for respirator use, and should be performed before using the equipment on the job or with any changes to the equipment
