Fits 67-68
The differences between the two are-
67 & 68 do have mostly cosmetic design changes in the center/spoke areas and have a different part number but will interchange (fit each year fine)
The 68 horn ring is satin finished (seen here)
and the 67 is chrome.
So if your man is in need of a steering unit. This one is cheaper than any of the over 300- ones I could find for sale on ebay
