Safety and Security: The adapter features a single locking mechanism : The top latch ensures proper interlock between the adapter and the vehicle's charge port. The top locking mechanism (CCS1 latch) controls through a set of springs the NACS side locking pin. If the adapter is locked by the charge port's locking mechanism, the NACS connector can't be removed from the adapter.
Protection : IP54 (mating) & IP67 (enclosing).
