Carol Habben played in the AAGPBL from 1951-54. 1951-53 Carol played for the Rockford Peaches. 1954 she played for the Kalamazoo Lassies. 1951-52 she was a catcher. 1953: 3rd, outfield and catcher as a utility player. 1954: pitcher and outfielder. She was one of the Home Run Twins in 1954 hitting 15 home runs to help propel the team to the championship title. The ball was switched to 9 1/4"...the same size as in the major leagues enabling her to show how much power she had at bat which was .445 average. She was chronicled in the film " A League of Their Own. " She is in Cooperstown Hall of Fame which is dedicated to the whole team and not just an individual.
