The ultimate freeride touring binding, the new Atomic Shift² 10 MN blends powerful downhill performance with a hybrid ski/walk function to access the best of both worlds: pin binding mobility on the way up and alpine stability for the down. A new Micro AFD features a Power Block aluminum insert that integrally supports the AFD while allowing micrometric adjustment for an extremely precise fit with the boot interface. Tested extensively by the Atomic freeride team, the updated binding offers 30% more lateral stiffness for greater power transfer and better overall durability. Larger toe wings deliver improved shock resistance and a massive toe lever adds stability and durability. A sturdier brake lever improves the locking mechanism to avoid unintentional release, and a redesigned climbing aid is optimized to add 4mm of lift to each step.
