The Black Box C6PC70-BK-01 is a Cat6 GigaTrue 3 patch cable that measures one foot and comes in black. It gives network administrators a straightforward way to create connections that are short and tidy between rack equipment, desktop devices, or wall plates.

Rated for 550 MHz, the cable goes well beyond the 250 MHz Cat6 requirement. That extra headroom keeps Gigabit Ethernet traffic moving smoothly and helps voice, video, or PoE signals avoid crosstalk and interference.

Inside the cable you will find 24 AWG conductors that terminate in RJ45 plugs with 50 micron gold plated contacts. The materials maintain strong conductivity, which keeps signals clear and reduces packet loss.

Each plug is fitted with the patented LockPORT boot. With the boot alone you have a normal patch cord. When you snap in an optional pin, the plug locks in place, a safeguard for public kiosks, classrooms, retail displays, or any rack that carries critical data.

The boot also shields the latch from snagging and is tested for 750 insertions, so you can re-patch equipment as often as needed without wearing out the termination.
