This multi-species Dewdrop Insect Hotel provides safe haven for butterflies, moths, and other insects in your garden. Invertebrates of all kinds form the basis of a healthy ecosystem, so they are to be encouraged wholeheartedly in our gardens.
The rear of the Dewdrop Insect house may be opened so that some twigs or straw can be added. This will assist in roosting.
The habitat may be used during summer and also as an over-wintering space for certain species such as non-migratory butterflies.
The Dewdrop Butterfly/Insect habitat is made from FSC-certified plywood with a decorative woven bamboo finish around the sides.
The front and rear panels are painted a pretty aqua blue and may be topped up with a water-based shade to maintain appearance. No chemicals have been used in the construction of this habitat.
The Dewdrop Butterfly/Insect habitat should be hung close to flowering plants in a sheltered location. Ideally out of the prevailing wind and positioned in dappled sunlight.
