Who's the Funboard P2 Soft for

Unlike conventional softboards, a P2 is a fully glassed, high-quality hardboard laminated with a soft foam to create the most durable softboard on the market. If you want a hardboard alternative for your business, make sure to check out the Funboard E+ as well.

The Funboard P2 is for smaller riders or the perfect stepping stone for surfers looking to drop down in size as their skills are progressing fast. Its rubber bumpers, soft fins and slick skin HD bottom are durable and make sure any chance of injury is minimized.

P2 Soft Construction

Consider the Funboard P2 Soft the “final” softboard; the last softie riders will use before progressing to a hardboard. These are considered the next step for a surfer who has spent enough time practising on a longboard.

Not quite ready yet for a fish or a shortboard? Try the Funboard Elements!

Fin setup

The Funboard P2 Soft comes with a bolt-through set of fins, all equally sized. This setup is called a thruster and helps beginners with directional stability. The fins also bend under pressure - so whether you accidentally hit one underwater or need to them because you want to practise your popups on a solid surface, standing on your funboard - it's all good. These soft nylon thrusters will put up with any abuse you will throw at them.
