Game Boy (Green)

Nintendo Game Boy, DMG-01 in green color. Comes with 3 games: Tetris, Top Rank Tennis, Game & Watch Gallery. Console hardware fully works; all buttons are responsive, and screen and speaker have no defects. All 3 games work, but Game & Watch Gallery can’t save high scores, so it needs a battery replacement.

Note: the dim monochrome display is how these handhelds were originally manufactured and is itself not a defect. You’ll likely need to find a good light source and adjust the contrast dial to see the screen.

The plastic in some of the shell's screw holders was brittle and broke off at some point when I opened the case, preventing those screws from being used again; I used packing tape on the top area. The screws at the bottom still work.

If you plan on modding the Game Boy in some way, such as a shell swap or screen replacement, please note that some of the screws holding the internal components together are stripped; they were that way when I first acquired it.
