Designed to slit and ring many types of tight buffer, loose tube buffer, breakout cables, and other types of jacketed fiber cables, this tool is perfect for slitting and ringing OFS Minicord EZ-Bend and other similar cables. This slit and ring tool features the following: L-shaped hardened steel guide and blade guard allows the blade to get underneath the buffer in order to slit, Ringer portion of the tool cuts through plastic, rubber, or fabric insulation sheathing with 0.031” (0.787 mm) or 0.018" (0.457 mm) thickness, Ringer can be used on 3/16"-1/2" (4.7 mm-12.7 mm) diameter cables, and it includes one replacement blade.
