The MagTek 22533003 Mini MICR check reader can be used at a point of sale to scan a check, read the MICR characters that appear along the bottom of the check, and create an electronic copy, and it contains an integrated triple-track magnetic card reader to read a credit or debit card or another magnetic stripe card to complete a transaction. The check reader can scan a check at 17" per second for speed. The triple-track magnetic card reader can read and capture data from all three tracks typically present in a magnetic stripe to complete a transaction. The USB port can be used to connect the check reader to a computer or another host system to transmit check or card data (cable sold separately). This product weighs 3 lb. and measures 4.25 x 4 x 6 inches (H x W x D).
