During measurement the cap serves as gun-type grip for easy probe insertion.

The on-off button is located between the pins.

As the pins are pushed into the wood the on-off button is automatically depressed and turns the meter on.

No need to depress an on-off button.

The unique, bright LED display is shock-proof and can be read even in poorly lit areas.
