Mother of pearl purse. This is a great little vintage item. Mother of pearl tiles hand sewn to a green silk body. Each tile is meticulously placed and attached by hand sewing. The handles are made of their shell and hand carved. Each suffers slightly from the other but are almost identical. A lot of time and craftsmanship has gone into the making of the hand bag. The bag measures 7"w by 2"d by 5" 3/4 h, the handles are approximately 4" wide with cut outs large enough for a woman's hand to grip comfortably. The maker is Shiraleah made in Vietnam. A beautiful accessory with any outfit. Elegant but simple.
