This piece is on a block of wood that measures 10 1/2" X 2 1/8", so please note the size. This is a rough-hewn piece made from small chunks of sea glass, stained glass, glass beads, glass cabochons, mirrored glass and a mother of pearl disk. I wanted to see what kind of effects would be created when light passed through these glass pieces against a dark background. I was very pleased with the effect and have used it in other pieces since then. This piece represents ice flowing in water, expressing energy and movement.
There are two hangers behind this piece to stabilize the art against the wall. It can be hung as you see it or in reverse. It is signed on the back. The unusual size of this small piece would recommend it for use in a grouping of art pieces.
