Brackish began with one feather bow tie designed by Ben Ross and gifted to his groomsman, Jeff Plotner. Since its inception, the brand has blossomed into a full line of men’s and women’s accessories designed and handcrafted in Charleston, South Carolina with each piece focused on honoring the beauty found in nature. Inspired by the beautiful, slightly eccentric formality of the Green Pond tie, the Navy Lady Cummerbund exudes elegance while simultaneously remaining the most unique accessory in the room. Using a technique similar to our bow ties, feathers are laid down a specific way to adhere to a 4 panel pattern. The grosgrain cloth is an ideal combination of durability (does not wear as easily as satin), understated elegance, and an homage to classic tailoring and formal attire.
