Opened and used Nintendo Switch with a nearly dead battery. Works well when docked and plugged into power but the battery dies within minutes if taken off the dock. This has been docked on my tv for the last 6+ months and worked without issue.
Can be used as a docked Switch or you can replace the battery if that is something you are comfortable doing. This is a launch edition Switch from 2017 so I can not guarantee how long it will function without a full battery replacement.
