Water quality is unreliable across the world. But even in developed countries, consumers have no way of knowing if their water has been polluted from old pipes or a contaminated storage unit. And getting it tested can be very costly. We started developing Water N from acknowledging that customers need access to their water data. After developing our patented self-generating filter, we developed our app so users can receive automatic notifications of water quality, usage, and filter replacements. We hope our technology shows the value of using safe and clean water. Our innovation improves the health of customers and pets and is especially useful for those with sensitive skin to increase quality of life. We hope to contribute to improving overall water quality by determining which pipes need replacing. We want to again emphasize the importance of tracking water usage - not only to reduce water waste, but also for elderly or handicapped people living alone. If no water usage is detected for a period of time, we can determine that a welfare check is in order.

• Water N is a semi-permanent and self-powered device generating electricity using water pressure. The lifespan of the monitor is about 5,000 hours or 7 years at regular households; filter, average 3 months. Our device is powered by water, meaning no need for batteries or other external power sources. This increases electrical safety.
• Water N is easy to use: It attaches to the shower head to check water quality and temperature automatically, and then install the app to connect. Real-time water quality & temperature can be checked via app using Bluetooth. Users can check water quality, temperature, usage history, and more via our connected mobile app.
• Water N is a smart, sustainable shower filter that measures water quality and removes dangerous metals, chemicals, and impurities. Also UV sterilization function eliminates organic materials. Our Water N Filter is combined to improve safety and reliability for those who have sensitive skin.
• Materials include ABS, ECOZEN, silicon and stainless steel. ABS body of the monitor is hygienic because it does not cause corrosion or rust even if it is kept in contact with water. ECOZEN for the filter case is a material commonly used for baby bottles and hot water does not dissolve harmful substances and is safe.
• With Water N APP, the user has easy access to check water usage data, water quality, quality of building pipes, and filter replacement notifications. Proprietary algorithms include an algorithm to inform the user when to replace filter monthly or annually and regional water quality as well as water temperature average.
