Turn off water supply to toilet. Flush toilet to drain water lines.2. Twist and pull out vacuum breaker from back of toilet. (Toilet may need to be removedfrom floor to access vacuum breaker.) Remove old rubber sealing grommet from toilet.If applicable, remove plastic cover from vacuum breaker.3. Remove water hose (and hand sprayer hose, if applicable) clamped to vacuum breaker.Discard old vacuum breaker and sealing grommet.4. For toilets with hand sprayer, position strain-relief bracket before installing hoses.5. Re-attach water hose(s) wito new clamp(s) and, if applicable, attach plastic cover tonew vacuum breaker.6. With soapy water, lubricate outside and inside of new sealing grommet to install it intoilet, then push vacuum breaker fully into grommet.7. Re-install toilet, turn on water supply, and flush to verify no leaks.
