The Roland SPD-SX sampling pad puts powerful sample creation and playback under your sticks. With nine velocity-sensitive rubber pads and 2GB of internal memory, you can store and trigger up to 360 minutes of mono samples without needing external storage. The SPD-SX makes capturing and importing a variety of samples simple using the included Wave Manager software and multi-pad sampling. Once your samples are loaded, you have extensive control over them with two external dual-trigger inputs, two realtime control knobs and four dedicated effects buttons, as well as a large backlit LCD screen that displays sampler information clearly.
