- Activation/deactivation: Do not perform while riding. By pressing the Walk button your e-bike display will show a value of 5.0 km/h (3.1 mph) - you will be able to ride at speeds of up to 50 km/h or more. To minimize the risk of error codes, we recommend not exceeding 35 km/h. Deactivate the tuning in the same way, and your display will show 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph). If your e-bike does not have a Walk button, use the combination of - + - + buttons to activate/deactivate the SpeedBox.
- After finishing the ride, leave the bike on after finishing the ride until a value of 0.0 km/h is displayed. During this process the remaining time will be displayed. Do not remove the display to lock the e-bike until SpeedBox finishes the "countdown" process.
- Do not update the firmware of your e-bike to avoid the risk of tuning detection. The warranty of SpeedBox products does not apply on malfunctions caused by updating the motor. When stopping for a short time, in order to continue riding smoothly, keep one foot on the pedal so that the countdown does not start. When stopping for a longer period of time, allow at least a partial countdown to take place.
- After a long ride, the countdown may take several minutes. Do not remove the display if the countdown has not been finished. Before installing the SpeedBox into a brand new e-bike, ride at least 10 km on this e-bike. E-bikes equipped with SpeedBox products are not allowed to be used on public roads, cycling paths and public places.
