The Strap Gunman was part of the second generation of Treasure Gaust, and was an alternative unit to the Strap Hunter. It was released in 2007 and functions very similarly to the Strap Hunter, having the same interface and Strap System, but featuring a trigger and shooting mechanism and an upgraded sound chip as opposed to the reel and fishing mechanics of the Strap Hunter. It also features some new Gaust that were swapped for some of the Gaust in Strap Hunter. Both games have 171 total Gaust.
