Believe to be a Neapolitan Style Mandolin from the 60’s 70’s Has a deep, rounded back resembling a bowl, which distinguishes it from flat-back mandolins.Bowlback mandolins were very popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, particularly in Italy and the United States.materials used in construction believe to be spruce or cedar for the soundboard, mahogany for the neck, back, and sides, and rosewood for the fingerboard, headstock, and bridges. Sound associated with classical music and traditional Italian folk music, and known for a rich, resonant tone.
Excellent condition has two small hairline cracks repaired on back pictures.. does not affect sound or playability. Comes with gig bag
