This is an vintage one-gallon Western Stoneware crock jug featuring a classic two-tone brown and white glaze with the iconic blue maple leaf logo. Made by Western Stoneware Co. in Monmouth, Illinois, this piece dates to the early 1900s and is marked with a “1” to indicate one-gallon capacity. Crafted from durable earthenware with a ceramic glaze, it has great rustic character and displays beautifully. There are a couple of chips consistent with age and use.
