  A high quality American-made counterbore made by WL Fuller. Made of carbon steel & hardened, this counterbore is very well-built, durable, & cuts clean holes in soft woods & plastics. These type “B” counterbores are for the flat under the head of nails, spikes, & bolts to sink the heads under the surface, or deep enough for wood plug to cover the head. The counterbore is held in place with two hex-socket set screws fastened into the bit & is easily adjustable up & down the length of the drill bit if the need arises, they also can be used with stop collars to control the depth of cut, See here for our Stop Collars.
