The lone retro model in Kanye West’s adidas Yeezy line that otherwise features bold, avant-garde designs, the Powerphase dates back to the 1980’s when it was first released as a general fitness/tennis sneaker. In other words, no, they aren’t a Reebok rip-off. The clean and simple sneaker dropped in this version, its second colorway, in December 2017, featuring an all-grey upper and sole with green and red adidas branding and “CALABASAS” in gold foil.
